CodoniXnotes Web Training
CodoniX provides weekly live web training classes for clinical and administrative users of CodoniXnotes. Four classes are available Basic and Advanced Provider Training and Basic and Advanced Administrative Training. Each class is two hours and costs $200 per site. Basic Provider Training:
An overview of the CodoniXnotes and how to navigate through the application.
Designed for physicians and clinical staff, all functionality is described
and demonstrated including Chief Complaint and HPI, Past Medical History,
Review of Systems, Physical Exams, Orders, Lab results, Procedures, Diagnosis,
Prescription Writer, Coding, and Disposition. Participants are walked through
realistic patient scenarios to create complete coded charts. Quick Charts
for common presentations are demonstrated as well as more complex presentations
with multiple complaints. Participants are encouraged to ask questions
and request clarification during the class.
Advanced Provider Training:
An in-depth review of CodoniXnotes for physicians and clinical staff.
Demonstrations of multiple presenting complaints and higher acuity presentations,
as well how to set up customized physical exams and prescription “favorites” lists.
The CMS audit will be demonstrated and its design parameters discussed.
Audit prompts for missing or incomplete documentation will be discussed
along with reimbursement criteria for appropriate E and M levels. The class
will also provide hints on how to reduce the time it takes to completely
document a complete visit and still maximize billing revenue. Participants
are encouraged to present patient scenarios that they are unclear as to
how to document. Participants should either have taken the Basic Provider
training or have significant experience using CodoniXnotes.
Basic Administrator Training:
An overview of CodoniXnotes administrative functions with the goal of
being able to register patients, collect payment information, assign a
patient to a room and clinician, disposition them when their visit is over,
and collect billing data. Demonstrations of appointment scheduling, registration
and collection procedures, scanning required insurance and privacy documents,
setting up a patient on the tracker board, inputting lab test values, prescription
printing, and dispositioning patients. Task management and intra office
communication will also be demonstrated. This class is interactive and
participants are encouraged to ask questions and request clarification
during the session.
Advanced Administrator Training:
An in-depth review of CodoniX administrative functions. This class will
focus on advanced administrative functionality such as patient follow-up,
referrals, prescription refills, intra office communication of requests
and tasks, faxing, and advanced billing functionality. Participants should
either have taken the Basic Administrator training or have significant
experience using CodoniXnotes.
